A dataset connects a data source to visualizations. It ingests data from the source to create a data model for visual analysis. IT personnel, data engineers, and data analysts typically use datasets for data processing. In Quick BI, datasets are the foundation of visual analysis. You can create a dataset from data tables using either visual configuration or custom SQL.
You can manage datasets created from data source tables or custom SQL. Management tasks include associating datasets, further data processing, editing, and renaming.
