In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Monitoring > Agent Management. Then, in the top navigation bar, select your region.
Click the Agent Release Notes tab to view all official agent versions released after September 2021.

ARMS provides download links for agent packages that are within their support period. When you manually install an ARMS agent, select the latest agent version.
Note
- Each official agent version has a fixed support period of 6 months from its release date.
- Starting from version 4.x, agents are available in Long-Term Support (LTS) versions. When you install an agent manually, we recommend that you prioritize an LTS version. An LTS version has a fixed support period of 12 months.

Version 5.x

ARMS 5.x agents fully adopt OpenTelemetry (OTel) semantic conventions and are decoupled from the OpenTelemetry Java agent through extension mechanisms. You can use the latest community semantic capabilities without vendor lock-in, while benefiting from observability features exclusive to Alibaba Cloud. ARMS 4.x agents are built on the OpenTelemetry Java Agent, embracing open-source standards while providing all features of earlier agent versions.
