Intelligent monitoring is a system that is used to monitor and analyze tasks in DataWorks. This system monitors the status of tasks and sends alert notifications based on the intervals, notification methods, and recipients specified in alert rules. Alert notifications can be sent by text message or phone call and you are charged for the generated text messages and phone calls for alerting. Alert notifications that are sent by using phone numbers only in the Chinese mainland are supported. This topic describes the billing of text messages and phone calls for alerting in the intelligent monitoring system.
Billable items
The billing system bills you for alert notifications that are sent by text message and phone call after alerts are generated for intelligent monitoring and monitoring of real-time synchronization tasks in Operation Center and monitoring of data quality in Data Quality.
The intelligent monitoring service also generates baseline instances for which you are charged. For more information, see Billing of baseline instances.
Pricing
For each edition of DataWorks, you are provided with free text message and phone call quotas in each calendar month. The following table lists the quotas for each edition.

You are not charged for the alert notifications that are within the offered quota. You are charged based on the following standards if you exceed the free quotas:
Alibaba Cloud public cloud: CNY 0.045 per text message and CNY 0.15 per call
Finance Cloud: CNY 0.086 per text message and CNY 0.285 per call
Gov Cloud: CNY 0.09 per text message and CNY 0.30 per call
If the DataWorks edition changes within a calendar month, the free monthly quotas of the new edition apply. If the number of alert notifications that are sent by text message or phone call exceeds the original free monthly quota before the DataWorks edition changes, the charges incurred cannot be exempted.
If the number of alert notifications that are sent by text message or phone call exceeds the corresponding free monthly quota of the new edition, no free quota is available for this notification method in this month.
