Project Introduction

Pawnpal is an online pet services platform for pet owners. We're connecting pet owners with vets by finding the nearest animal clinics and telehealth, which includes online consultation and provide reliable pet health information and education to the pet owners.

The human-animal interactions and relations are diverse and dynamic, living together and have a mutual relationship in many aspects. In recent days of the human-animal interaction, in particular, pet animal is not limited to physical interaction but influenced by emotional and psychological of both relations. Therefore, most pet owners treat pet animals as their companions or part of their family. Unfortunately, there's limited credible animal health information and animal health services information that could be accessed by pet owners. This may result in mistreatment behavior in pet owners to their pet animals when their pet is sick. In most Indonesian cases, pet owners, pet lovers join in the animal lover community and share experiences when their pet animal is ill and the treatments themselves without veterinarian supervision. Assuredly this may harm the pet animal, not today but in the future.

Paw n Pal offers solutions based on the current problems by providing credible information on animal health and connecting pet owners with veterinarians directly in the easiest way. Pet owners could make a consultation for emergency cases at a certain time and access information of nearest animal clinics from current location. This may help pet owners or pet lovers who have an emergency for their pet animal and require treatments directly from a veterinarian soon.

Paw n Pal is a platform that uses Alibaba Cloud Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and works with MySQL, React, Django, React Native (coming soon for mobile Apps).
