At the 2026 Apsara Conference, Alibaba unveiled a series of AI hardware products, including an agentic computer, its latest AI glasses, earbuds, and an upgraded note-taking device to bring AI capabilities into everyday life, designed to boost productivity at workplace and beyond.

Qwen Book Unifies Models, OS and Cloud in an Agent-Ready Computer

Alibaba Cloud unveiled Qwen Book, an AI agentic computer powered by Qwen Desktop OS, Alibaba's AI-native operating system. Qwen Book unifies its native Qwen models, operating system, applications and cloud services into a single stack.

Built on the pioneering “OS as Harness” concept, Qwen Book integrates the interface, context, runtime, and control over software and hardware into an agent-ready computing environment that supports contextual understanding, memory, and task execution, while remaining fully governable.

This integration reshapes the user experience. For example, when editing a presentation deck, a user gives voice commands through the stylus, which also serves as a microphone, and Qwen Book automatically retrieves the file from the cloud, locates the exact slide, and invokes the appropriate tools to make the requested edits. Users can review and approve the changes on their smartphones on the move.

Alibaba Expands AI Wearable Line-up with Qwen Glasses N1 Series, Qwen Clip in China

Alibaba unveiled its latest smart wearable line-up in China including Qwen Glasses N1 and N1 Pro, as well as its first AI earbuds Qwen Clip.

Qwen Glasses N1 Series and Qwen Clip

The Qwen Glasses N1 series feature first-person HD capture via a 50-megapixel sensor. Notably the Qwen Glasses N1 Pro features new eye-tracking that enabled visual interaction, including object recognition and iris-based payment.

Qwen Clip is equipped with a clip-on, open-ear design and integrates the Qwen AI assistant for face-to-face translation, AI note-taking, and voice-driven task execution. Co-engineered with Bose, the Qwen-powered AI earbuds is designed for enhanced audio performance.

Pre-orders opened on September 22, with official sales scheduled for October 13.

QwenNote A2 Brings Real-World Context to AI Agents

Alibaba unveiled QwenNote A2, a new portable note-taking AI device and an upgrade of its existing DingTalk A1, a popular product for the workplace. The new device is designed to capture offline conversations and turn them into actionable context for AI agents to handle more complex tasks.

Seamlessly integrated with QwenWork, Alibaba’s all-in-one workplace AI agent, QwenNote A2, users can assign tasks to the agent by voice and transcribe conversations on the go. QwenWork can be used to understand and process the recordings, then work with DingTalk to send messages, schedule follow-up meetings, create to-dos, or generate AI-powered spreadsheets—turning notes into actionable items.

Powered by Alibaba’s Qwen-Audio model, the device supports real-time conversations in which users can interrupt, ask follow-up questions or adjust instructions. It weighs 67 grams, features six microphones with a pickup range of up to eight meters, and can operate independently through built-in 4G connectivity.

To protect user privacy, audio is encrypted during transmission and deleted after transcription, with only text and summaries retained. The device supports up to 40 hours of continuous transcription and 18 days of standby time.

QwenNote A2 is priced at RMB 1,199 and went on sale September 22 through the QwenWork flagship store on Tmall, Alibaba’s e-Commerce platform.
