For security, Cloud Drive for Enterprises (CDE) disables the external and internal sharing features by default. Enable them to allow users to share resources from their personal space or a team space.
Usage notes
Only a super administrator or drive administrator can enable these features.
After you enable a feature, restart the client or refresh the page for the change to take effect.
Enable external sharing
You can create and access up to 500 external shares each per day. If you create an external share without selecting the Only enterprise users can access it option, downloads of APK and IPA files from that share are blocked. To remove these limitations, an administrator must complete the custom domain name configuration. For more information, see Custom Domain Name Configuration. Starting February 24, 2025, at 10:00:00 (UTC+8), downloads of APK and IPA files will be blocked from all new external share links.
Log in to Cloud Drive for Enterprises (CDE) and go to the admin console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Security Policy > External Sharing.
On the External Sharing page, turn on the External Sharing switch.

Enable internal sharing/authorization
Log in to Cloud Drive for Enterprises (CDE) and go to the admin console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Security Policy > Internal Sharing/Authorization.
On the Internal Sharing/Authorization page, turn on the Internal Sharing/Authorization switch.

Differences between external sharing and internal sharing/authorization

Allows users to share resources from their personal space and allows administrators to manage authorization for team space resources. | Restricted to users within the organization. |
