Benefits

• Various data diagnostic metrics

  Monitors devices across multiple diagnostic metrics, including Network Connection Success Rate, Cause, and Cloud Connections, to help you identify issues from different angles.

• Automated intelligent baselines

  Uses machine learning algorithms to automatically generate intelligent baselines from device runtime data, eliminating the need for manual threshold configuration and helping you detect abnormal devices.

• Exception detection alerts

  Monitors device metrics in real time and triggers alerts when a metric value reaches its threshold, so you can respond to device exceptions promptly.

Features

• Diagnostic metric

  Visualizes diagnostic metrics for the current instance, including Network Connection Success Rate, Message Arrival Rate, and Time Consumed for Device-to-cloud Connection, to help you monitor device status.

• Intelligent baseline

  Generates metric-based intelligent baselines using machine learning algorithms to detect anomalies, preventing false positives caused by static thresholds.

• Offline analysis

  Analyzes disconnected devices by time range and reconnection timeout period, showing the number of connection events and the regional distribution of disconnection events to help you investigate causes.

• Diagnostic analysis

  Runs metric-based diagnostics for specific devices, covering Unexpected Device Disconnection, Upstream Messaging Exceptions, Abnormal Downstream Messaging, and Rule-based Message Forwarding Exceptions, and provides troubleshooting suggestions based on the results.

Limits

Device diagnostics is available only in the China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), and China (Shenzhen) regions.

Billing

Device diagnostics includes the diagnostic metric, intelligent baseline, offline analysis, and diagnostic analysis features. Enabling any feature consumes data processing units (CUs). For more information about consumption rules, see Enterprise instances (subscription).

Process

1. Enable or disable device diagnostics: Enable the required device diagnostics features for your Enterprise Edition instance before you can view diagnostic information.

3. View the CU usage: View the status of each device diagnostics feature and the CU usage of the current instance.
