The diagnostic analysis feature of IoT Platform is used to diagnose exceptions that occur on devices, including device disconnection exceptions, upstream or downstream messaging exceptions, and rule-based message forwarding exceptions. The feature provides the corresponding suggestions for troubleshooting based on the diagnostic result.
Prerequisites
A device is connected to IoT Platform. For more information, see Create a product.
A device diagnostics feature is enabled. For more information, see Enable or disable device diagnostics features.
Description
Log on to the IoT Platform console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region where the Enterprise Edition instance that you want to manage resides. On the Overview tab, find the instance and click the instance name.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Maintenance > Device Diagnostics. On the Device Diagnostics page, click Diagnostic Analysis.
On the Diagnostic Analysis tab, click Create Diagnostics Report. In the Create Diagnostics Report dialog box, configure the parameters and click OK. The following table describes the parameters.

Product
Select a product for which you want to create a diagnostics report.
Time range
Select a time range for the data that you want to analyze. For example, you can select Last 15 Minutes, Last Hour, or Last 7 Days. You can specify a custom time range that is within the previous 7 days.
After a diagnostic report is created, you can view the details of the report on the Diagnostic Analysis tab.

Exceptions
The total number of exceptions that occurred on all devices of the product.
Diagnostic Metrics
The diagnostic metrics, including Unexpected Device Disconnection, Upstream Messaging Exceptions, Abnormal Downstream Messaging, and Rule-based Message Forwarding Exceptions.

The DeviceName of the device that you selected to view the details of exceptions. You can select another device.
Proposal
The troubleshooting suggestions for the device based on the diagnostic details.
Diagnostic Details
The details of each diagnostic metric for the device, including Total Exceptions, Anomaly Charts, and Last Exception.
