IoT Platform:Offline analysis

Last Updated:Dec 19, 2023

When a device disconnection event occurs, you must analyze the cause of the disconnection. The offline analysis feature allows you to collect the characteristics of a disconnected device based on the time range in which the disconnection event occurred and the timeout period for pending reconnection. This way, you can understand and analyze the cause of the disconnection in a comprehensive manner.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log on to the IoT Platform console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the Enterprise Edition instance that you want to manage resides. On the Overview tab, find the instance and click the instance name.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Maintenance > Device Diagnostics. On the Device Diagnostics page, click Offline Analysis.

  4. On the Offline Analysis tab, click Create Analysis Report. In the Create Analysis Report dialog box, configure the parameters and click OK. The following table describes the parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Product

Select a product for which you want to create an analysis report.

    Query Time Range

    • Date: You can select a date within the previous seven days.

      Note

You can select only one day. If you want to select a time range that spans multiple days, you must create multiple analysis reports.

    • Start time and end time: Specify a time range within which device disconnection events occurred.

      Note

Make sure that the device disconnection events that you want to query occurred in the time range that you specified to improve the accuracy of the analysis report.

Timeout Period for Device Reconnection (Minute)

The timeout period for device reconnection. This helps the system collect devices that failed to be reconnected to IoT Platform within the timeout period.

  5. After the analysis report is created, you can view the details of the analysis report on the Offline Analysis tab.

    • Distribution of Device Disconnection

Collects the number of device disconnection events by cause.设备异常

    • Cross-country Offline Device Distribution by Region

Collects the number of device disconnection events by Chinese Province. This helps you understand the characteristics of the distribution of unexpectedly disconnected devices by region.

    • Pending Reconnection Devices

Collects the details of devices that failed to be reconnected to IoT Platform within the specified timeout period.未重连设备

      Note

If the system does not return the result for a query, refresh the Offline Analysis tab at an interval of several minutes or narrow down the query scope. This issue occurs because a large number devices that failed to be reconnected to IoT Platform within the specified timeout period exist.
