The diagnostic metrics feature visualizes key metrics for the current instance, such as Network Connection Success Rate, Message Arrival Rate, and Time Consumed for Device-to-cloud Connection, to help you monitor and analyze device status.

The device diagnostics feature is enabled. For more information, see Enable and disable device diagnostics.
Diagnostic metrics
Select a time range for any diagnostic metric, such as Network Connection Success Rate, Message Arrival Rate, Time Consumed for Device-to-cloud Connection, or Success Rate for Forwarding. The system displays statistics in charts by minute or hour. You can also specify a custom time range of up to seven days.
Preset time ranges include Last 15 minutes, Last 1 hour, Last 3 hours, Last 6 hours, Last 1 day, Last 3 days, and Last 7 days.

If you select a time range of one day or longer, metric data is displayed by hour.

If you select a time range of less than one day, metric data is displayed by minute.
Network Connection Success Rate
The average success rate of device connections to IoT Platform over protocols such as TCP and TLS. Link SDK 4.1.0 or later is required.
Message Arrival Rate
The arrival rate of downstream messages sent from IoT Platform to devices over MQTT.
Time Consumed for Device-to-cloud Connection
The average time consumed for device connections to IoT Platform over protocols such as TCP and TLS. Link SDK 4.1.0 or later is required.
Success Rate for Forwarding
The success rate of forwarding subscribed messages from IoT Platform to your business server. If the rate is below 100%, reconfigure your server-side subscription. For more information, see Server-side subscriptions.
Cause
The number of device offline events grouped by cause.
Cloud Connections
The number of times device messages are forwarded to other Alibaba Cloud services for storage or processing.
