Toolbar

The toolbar at the top of the editor page lets you switch between the canvas and blueprint, apply beautification, add filters, search globally for layers, commands, widgets, and the design library, refresh the canvas, show or hide the settings panel on the right, switch themes, view error messages, generate snapshots, and preview or publish your dashboard.

2

Left tab list

Shows tabs for features such as Layers, Widget Library, Design Library, Global Variables, Filter Configuration and Application, History, and Data Management. For more information, see the introduction page for each feature.

Canvas settings

The center of the editor page serves as the canvas area. You can control the dashboard layout and set the interaction mode:

  • Dashboard layout: Use the canvas features to arrange widget styles, set the canvas scaling ratio, show or hide the thumbnail, and view keyboard shortcuts.

  • Interaction mode: Simulates widget interactions in preview mode to test temporary effects, such as highlight and hover styles. When interaction mode is enabled, you can temporarily adjust widget styles on the canvas. For example, you can drag a map widget or click an interactive widget to configure its style. User-triggered widget behaviors in interaction mode do not take effect in the editor.

    Note
    • Style changes made in interaction mode are not saved. After you disable interaction mode, follow the on-screen instructions to refresh and revert the styles.

    • When interaction mode is enabled, the canvas scaling feature is unavailable. You must manually disable interaction mode to use the scaling feature again.

Example: Triggering a click on a drop-down selector in the canvas editor using interaction mode.image
