In the Downloads consumption channel, you can view the analytical works that you own and have published. This topic describes how to create and manage Quick BI downloads.
Prerequisites
The value-added service for asset consumption is purchased and the asset consumption module is enabled for the current tenant.
Before you use the download feature, you must initialize the consumption channel settings. For more information, see Create and manage consumption channels.
Limits
The cluster that contains the data source table must be connected to the Dataphin cluster over the network to consume the table in the BI channel.
You cannot create Quick BI analysis tasks if the data source is CDH 5.x Hive 1.1.0 or MySQL 5.1.43.
If full table scans are disabled in Dataphin, you must enable them when you create a Dataphin data source in Quick BI. This prevents SQL runtime errors. Use the following statement:
set oneservice.allow.full.scan=true.Only on-premises deployments of Quick BI V5.5.1_feature_2509 can consume data from AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL tables.
Create a download
On the Dataphin home page, choose Asset > Asset Consumption from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Consumption > My BI Analysis. On the My BI Analysis page, click the Quick BI Downloads tab, and then click the Create Download button. The Create Quick BI Analysis dialog box appears.
In the Create Quick BI Analysis dialog box, configure the parameters.

Click Expand Details to view a detailed description.
Associated Asset
Select the table asset for which to create an analysis task. You can search for the asset by name or filter by source. You can select multiple assets.
Workspace
If the selected consumption channel has a default workspace configured and you have management permissions for it, the system automatically fills in that workspace for you. If no default workspace is set or you do not have management permissions for it, you need to select a workspace for which you have management permissions. To create a workspace, see Create and Manage Workspaces.
Dataset
If a dataset already exists for the selected asset in the chosen workspace, the dataset name is displayed. If no dataset exists, one is automatically created before the analysis task. You can specify a name for the new dataset.
Click OK to validate the configuration.
After the validation succeeds, you begin the process of creating an analysis task, which includes creating a data source, a dataset, and a Quick BI download. You are then automatically redirected to the download creation page on the Quick BI platform for additional configuration. For more information, see Create a Download.
View downloads
The Quick BI Downloads tab lists the analytical works that you own and have published. This tab provides a centralized location to view and access them. The list includes the download name and BI workspace information.
You can search for analytical works by name or filter them by workspace.
In the Actions column of the target analytical work, you can perform the following operations:
