Asset consumption delivers processed data assets to data consumers, such as data warehouse developers and business users in operations, sales, and product roles. Authorized consumers can analyze accessible data to support business decisions and drive new value.

The Asset Operation and Asset Consumption value-added services are purchased, and the Asset Catalog and Asset Consumption features are enabled for the current tenant.

The OpenAPI feature is purchased. This feature is required to use the Dataphin Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) driver, which connects Dataphin with Quick BI for data collection and consumption.
Permissions
Super administrators, operations administrators, and custom global roles with the Consumption - Consumption Channel Management permission can perform asset consumption.

Dataphin lets you perform data analytics using Notebooks, dashboards, Downloads, and workbooks.
