The Messenger page in the Chat App Message Service console is the starting point for using Messenger messaging capabilities. Use this page to review what the Messenger service offers, follow the onboarding process, and manage the Messenger send accounts that you created.
What the Messenger service provides
Alibaba Cloud Chat App Message Service provides the Messenger service, which connects your business systems to Meta's Messenger instant messaging platform. Messenger covers 214 countries and regions and has more than 1 billion monthly active users worldwide. In the Chat App Message Service console, the Messenger service is available under OTT Services.
The Messenger service provides the following capabilities:
Facebook Page integration — Messenger works with Facebook Pages, which gives your business a direct communication channel with a global audience.
Message types — Messenger supports interaction forms such as text, images, buttons, and quick replies. Build these interactions with message templates.
Scenarios
Use the Messenger API to integrate Messenger messaging capabilities into your business systems. Typical scenarios include customer service, conversion improvement, and product showcase.
Prerequisites
Alibaba Cloud account registration and enterprise identity verification have been completed.
Chat App Message Service has been activated.
Go to the Messenger page
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose OTT Services > Messenger.
The service introduction area at the top of the Messenger page provides the Benefits, Pricing, and Documentation tabs. Click Hide Service Introduction to collapse the area. Click View Service Introduction to expand it again.

Manage Messenger send accounts
The My Send accounts area on the Messenger page lists the Messenger send accounts that you created.
View the send account list
The send account list shows the following information for each Messenger send account:
Field | Description |
Send account Name | The name of the send account. You can modify this name. |
Page ID | The unique identifier of the Facebook Page that is authorized to the send account. |
Space ID | The ID of the send account instance. |
Account Remark | The remark that was entered when the account was created. You can modify this remark. |
Account Status | The status of the send account. |
To locate a specific account, search the list by send account name or by Page ID. To open the details page of an account, click the account name.
Create a send account
In the My Send accounts area on the Messenger page, click Create Send account.
Complete the wizard. For the wizard fields and instructions, see Create a Messenger send account.
Edit send account information
Find the send account and click Edit.
Modify Send account Name or Remarks.
Click Save.
Delete a send account
Only accounts in the unbound state can be deleted directly.
Find the send account and click Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
