This topic describes how to activate and use Chat App Message Service.
Prerequisites
An Alibaba Cloud account is created and real-name verification for enterprises is complete. For more information, see Create an account and Real-name verification for enterprises.
A Facebook Business Manager account is created and enterprise verification is complete. If you have not gone through the verification process, you can start the verification process by referring to Verify your business in business settings.
The mobile phone number that you want to add is not previously used to create a WhatsApp Business account (WABA), and the location of the mobile phone number and the location of your enterprise are the same. This helps ensure the credibility of your WABA.
Your business is not prohibited from using the WhatsApp Business API. For more information, see WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
Step 1: Activate Chat App
Log on to the ChatApp console.
Click Agree and Start to go to the management page.
Step 2: Create a WABA
In the left-side navigation pane, choose to go to the Facebook logon page.
Choose .
Create an account based on the on-screen instructions.

Step 3: Verify your mobile phone number
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Channels.
Select the WABA to which you want to bind your mobile phone number, and click Synchronize number.
After the system generates a certificate, choose . On the dialog box that appears, enter the verification code.

Step 4: Create a message template
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Enter the template information and click OK to go to the template editing page.
On the page that appears, configure the template.
Choose . After the template is reviewed and approved, you can use the template to send messages.

Step 5: Send messages
In the left-side navigation pane, click Send message and edit the message information according to the on-screen instructions.
Click Send.
