Enterprise-class features
Whether an enterprise-class feature is available in a region depends on the region, data source, and backup vault type.
The cross-account backup feature supports the following data sources: Elastic Compute Service (ECS) files, Object Storage Service (OSS) objects, Tablestore tables, NAS files, ECS-hosted databases, and ECS instances. The cross-account backup feature does not support other data sources.
The automatic archiving feature supports the following data sources: ECS files, on-premises files, OSS objects, Apsara File Storage NAS (NAS) files, and on-premises NAS files.
The immutable backup feature can be enabled only for general-purpose backup vaults. The feature is not available for Tablestore backup vaults and database backup vaults.
The cross-region backup feature is available only for general-purpose backup vaults. The feature is not available for Tablestore backup vaults and free backup vaults. Backup vaults that are encrypted by using Key Management Service (KMS) cannot be used for cross-region backup.
