The alert management module of Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) sends alert notifications through phone, SMS, email, DingTalk, WeCom, and webhook. Each notification method delivers alerts to a different recipient type.
How notifications are routed
When a dispatch rule in a notification policy triggers, ARMS sends alert notifications to the recipients you configured. The recipient type depends on the notification method:
| Notification method | Recipient type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Phone, SMS, or email | Contacts | Individual recipients added to the alert management module |
| DingTalk | DingTalk groups | Chatbot-enabled groups that receive and manage alerts |
| WeCom | Enterprise WeChat chatbots | Chatbot-enabled enterprise WeChat groups |
| Webhook | Custom webhooks | Forward alerts to Feishu, WeChat, and DingTalk groups |
Contact groups
To notify multiple recipients at once, group contacts, chatbots, and custom recipients into a contact group. Specify the contact group in a notification policy, and ARMS sends alert notifications to all members.
