All cloud resources of a shared instance, including Elastic Compute Service (ECS), Server Load Balancer (SLB), and ApsaraDB for Redis instances, are shared by all users of this shared instance. In this case, the services of one tenant are prone to the impact of other tenants, which may cause high latency and deteriorate performance at the backend service. Therefore, shared instances are more suitable for development, testing, evaluation, and small-scale production environments.
