API Gateway:Serverless instances

Last Updated:Dec 18, 2024

Shared instances of API Gateway will be upgraded to serverless instances in batches.

Serverless instances are shared among users, who do not need to purchase the instances. Serverless instances charge fees only for initiated calls based on the same prices as shared instances. Compared with shared instances, serverless instances provide dynamic elasticity and a 99.9% SLA guarantee.

Serverless instances are in canary release. For regions in which serverless instances are available, menu items related to shared instances are changed to serverless instances in the console. Shared instances are upgraded to serverless instances in hot upgrade mode, which does not affect API calls to the original shared instances.
