This project is from the team Fortune Teller, which was awarded with the Innovation Award in the Global AI Innovation Challenge 2021 - Intelligent Weather Forecast for Better life.
We have developed a "Risk-Adjusted AI-based Drought Level Forecasting System" on Alibaba Cloud. This model has the ability to monitor, report, and predict the drought level and locations, which is important in terms of environmental concerns and climate change issues. This system can greatly help government agencies, farmers, and large governments to avoid the serious risks of drought, high costs, and its consequences.

We have used two-stage Attention-based Recurrent Neural Networks to predict the drought level for different regions. It uses 18 meteorological parameters to forecast the drought level.
We have used AI-based product of Alibaba to implement this algorithms. DSW product OS used to deploy and implement for our model.
The Fortune Teller team is a team name consisting of four people with all AI-oriented skills. The team has contributed to many AI-based projects using different state-of-the-art algorithms and methods.
