Develop Your E-Commerce Website Effortlessly in One Day with Just $1 USD

What is E-Mall?

E-Mall, also known as ShopALi, is a Software as a Service (SaaS) product on Alibaba Cloud that can build e-commerce and corporate websites. It is available in the Alibaba Cloud marketplace, and no code is required; simply use the drag and drop menus to create your website.

E-Mall comes with a range of packages, including Basic, Professional, Advanced, and Premium editions. This article focuses on the Basic edition of the E-Mall product to develop your website.

Setting up Your E-Mall Website Subscription

The following step-by-step guide explains how to get the $1 USD special E-Mall offer and set up your subscription.

  • Step 1: Log in to your Alibaba Cloud account and visit the ShopALi product page.
  • Step 2: You will be prompted to pick the product that meets your specification. Choose the Version (the Basic edition) and select the Period you want to use the service. Lastly, click the Buy Now button.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to the order confirmation page. Agree with the end-user license agreement and click Order.

  • Step 4: You will see that your order has been processed successfully.

After your order has been processed successfully, you can see your new SaaS product subscription by clicking on Console.

Setting up Your Website in E-Mall

After signing up for the E-Mall or ShopALi Basic edition, the next step is to build your website.

  • Step 1: From the ShopALi website management console, click the Design button to check out the design properties of your new website:

Note: The first website is the default template provided by ShopALI. You can change it to fit your requirements or create an entirely new website using other templates that come shipped with the ShopALi product.

  • Step 2: A pop-up window will notify you that your website is in non-public access mode, which means others cannot access it yet. You can select the I see button at this time.

  • Step 3: Next, you will be given the option to select the design you prefer for your website. In this scenario, I will choose the Responsive Website option. Click Start Design.

  • Step 4: Once selected, you will be redirected to the website editor.

In the website editor, there are various options, such as the Design section, which contains the different page layouts and other options.

There is also the Menu option that you can use to create, edit, and publish new pages, posts, products, media, and more.

You also have additional options, such as adding and editing products, adding and managing users, adding and managing media files (such as audio and video ), configuring download files and settings, adding comments and forms, and configuring other general settings (such as email templates and plugins.)

The menu option will redirect you to another website where you can work with all the available website building features.

Now, you have the website configuration section, which has various configurations you can add to your website, such as the website's name, website icons, language, SEO settings, performance (such as CDN), image compression, and link formats.

Using Templates for Your Website

  • Step 1: E-Mall or ShopALi also provides various website templates that you can work with depending on your business requirements. You can access the ShopALi management console and click the Create button to use any template.

  • Step 2: You can choose your preferred website template by clicking on Choose:

  • Step 4: Select your preferred web server location and click Create website now:

  • Step 5: Once your website is created, it will be added to the list of websites in the ShopALi website management console:

  • Step 6: Then, you can make some modifications to the template and add content to your website. Once you are finished making changes to your website, you can publish it by clicking the Publish site button.

  • Step 7: You will see a pop-up box that shows the progress of the request.

  • Step 8: Once the request is processed successfully, you can access your website via its Alibaba Cloud generated URL.

Note: You can add the randomly generated URL to your DNS service and connect it to your registered domain name.
