When you use a cloud computer, you receive several types of messages, including real-time messages, messages in the Notification Center, and instant alerts about the cloud computer's status. The Notification Center primarily displays notifications about administrative actions and usage, such as status changes, specification adjustments, and policy changes. This topic describes how to view and manage messages in the Notification Center and configure preferences for instant alerts.
This topic uses the macOS client V7.13 and the Enterprise Edition as an example. If your experience differs from the description in this topic, you may be using a different client or an outdated version. Upgrade to the latest version.
Prerequisites
You have signed in to the desktop client. For more information, see Sign in to the desktop client.
You have been assigned a cloud computer. If no cloud computer appears after you sign in, contact your IT administrator to assign one to you. For more information, see Assign cloud computers to users.
Background information
You receive messages on your cloud computer through real-time messages, the Notification Center, and instant alert messages.
Real-time messages: A real-time message is triggered when an administrator performs an operation on your cloud computer, such as setting a scheduled task, initiating an immediate shutdown or restart, changing a policy, modifying resource specifications, assigning or revoking a resource, or performing a system upgrade or remote assistance. You can view these pop-up messages in the real-time message panel while using the cloud computer.

These messages are organized into the following categories to help you quickly find usage and operation records for your account or cloud computer.
Marketing: Displays offers, promotions, and other campaign information related to cloud computers.
Management: Conveys information about administrative operations on your cloud computer. This includes notifications for tasks such as setting scheduled tasks, authorizing cloud computers or cloud disks, changing a usage policy, modifying resource specifications, assigning or revoking resources, and sending expiration reminders. It also includes pre-execution notices and execution results.
System: Displays system information for the current cloud computer, such as configuration messages, execution notices, and results for image version updates.
Instant alert messages: Alerts triggered when your cloud computer experiences high memory usage, insufficient disk space, or high CPU usage. You can enable or disable these alerts as needed.
Messages in the Notification Center are retained for 180 days. Review unread messages promptly to avoid missing important information.
Messages on a cloud computer are specific to that computer. If you have multiple cloud resources, you can also click the icon in the upper-right corner of the client's cloud resource list to view all messages for your account. This view includes Management, System, and Marketing messages.
