Billing methods
Simple Log Service supports two billing methods: pay-as-you-go and resource plan.

pay-as-you-go: You are charged for your actual usage in this postpaid model, where you pay for resources after using them. This method includes a monthly free quota and two billing models: pay-by-feature and pay-by-ingested-data. The pay-as-you-go method is ideal for scenarios with fluctuating business volumes.

resource plan: You purchase a resource plan in advance, and charges for your usage are deducted from this plan first. This is a prepaid model suitable for scenarios with stable business volumes. For more information, see Resource plan overview.

The free quota applies at the Alibaba Cloud account level, and all projects under an account share it.

Resource plans offer discounts compared to the pay-as-you-go method.

Usage that exceeds your resource plan's quota is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. We recommend purchasing a resource plan with a quota that meets your business needs.
Billable items
The pay-as-you-go method for Simple Log Service includes two models: pay-by-ingested-data and pay-by-feature. The resource plan (version ) supports both the pay-by-feature and pay-by-ingested-data models.
