Alert settings for resource plans
Configure usage alerts and expiration notifications to stay informed about resource plan consumption and validity.
Configure usage alerts
After you configure a usage alert, you receive notifications by email when a resource plan's remaining usage drops to a specified threshold.

Sign in to Billing Management.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Resource Management.

On the Resource Management page, click Remaining Usage Alert Settings.

In the Remaining Usage Alert Settings dialog box, turn on Enable Alerts, set the remaining quota percentage, and then click OK.
For example, if you set the remaining quota percentage to 20%, you will receive an alert when your Log Service resource plan's remaining usage drops to 20% of its total monthly quota.
NoteYou can configure alerts only for resource plans that are subscription-based or have a total amount that decreases with usage.
Configure expiration notifications
After you configure an expiration notification, you receive notifications by email, or internal message before a resource plan expires.

Sign in to the Alibaba Cloud console.

In the top navigation bar, click the

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

On the Common Messages page, find Product Expiration Notification and select your preferred notification methods.
By default, Alibaba Cloud sends notifications to the contacts of the current account before a resource plan expires. You can also click Modify to add more contacts.
