Q: Why did I receive a text message that my resource plan is running low? How does this affect me?

Yunxiao Creator coupons, resource plans redeemed with coupons, and Alibaba Cloud free trial resources all have usage quotas and expiration dates.

  • Expiration reminder: When your resource plan is about to expire, you will receive a text message notification. This message reminds you that you will be charged for usage after the plan expires.

  • Monitor usage: All types of resource plans have usage quotas. You should monitor the remaining quota of your resource plan.

  • Statistics latency reminder: Alibaba Cloud resource consumption statistics have a one-day delay, so the displayed balance is not in real time. We recommend that you do not use resources up to the limit. For example, you may have no resources left, but the interface shows that 10% of your resources remain. If you continue to use the service, you will incur an overdue payment. Therefore, you should stop using the service when the remaining resources are low.

Q: Will the plan or resource plan I purchased on the PAI ArtLab platform be automatically renewed after it is used up?

No, they will not. Plans or resource plans purchased on the PAI ArtLab platform do not have auto-renewal enabled and will not be automatically renewed upon expiration.

Q: How do I view the usage and expiration date of free trial resources, coupons, and resource plans?

Q: What do I do if I fail to claim a Yunxiao Creator coupon?

To claim the coupon, you must complete student identity authentication for your phone number, linked Alipay account, and Alibaba Cloud account. Check whether the Alibaba Cloud account with which you are logged in has passed student authentication.

Billing rules and purchase operations

Q: My Alibaba Cloud account has completed identity verification and is linked to Alipay. Will the fees incurred from using the product be directly deducted from my personal Alipay account? What are the deduction rules for fees generated on the platform?

Fees incurred from using the product are not directly deducted from your personal Alipay account. Fees for resource consumption are deducted as follows:

  • Scenario 1: If your Alibaba Cloud account balance is less than 0, your account has an overdue payment. You cannot use the platform, and no fees are generated.

  • Scenario 2: If you have not claimed free trial resources or coupons, have not purchased a plan or resource plan, and your Alibaba Cloud account balance is 0, you cannot use the platform. Therefore, no fees are generated.

  • Scenario 3: If you have claimed free trial resources or coupons, or purchased a plan or resource plan, and your Alibaba Cloud account balance is greater than or equal to 0, the fees for using the platform are deducted from your free trial resources, coupons, plan, or resource plan.

  • Scenario 4: If you have not claimed free trial resources or coupons, have not purchased a plan or resource plan, and your Alibaba Cloud account balance is greater than or equal to 0, the fees for using the platform are deducted from your Alibaba Cloud account balance.

Q: How can individual and enterprise users pay for and purchase ArtLab resources?

  • Individual users can purchase PAI ArtLab resources by buying a resource plan or adding funds to their Alibaba Cloud account balance for pay-as-you-go billing.

  • If you are an enterprise user with collaboration or purchase needs, you can search for DingTalk group 88010006410 to contact us.

Q: I noticed that charges are still being generated on my bill and my coupons or resource plans are being consumed even when I am not using the PAI ArtLab platform. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

  • Cause 1

    You have assets stored on the platform, and storage continuously consumes resources. Examples include the following:

    • You created a dataset and uploaded images. The storage fees for these images are deducted from your coupons.

    • Transferring models from Model Square to My Models incurs storage fees.

    • Images generated using any image generation tool are saved to your storage space. Storing these images incurs storage fees.

  • Solution

    You can clear the storage space.

  • Cause 2

    You started a Pro version tool on the platform and disabled the auto-shutdown policy. Because the tool was not manually shut down, its underlying cloud instance continues to run and consume resources. This may apply to the following tools:

    • Kohya (Pro version)

    • Stable Diffusion WebUI (Pro version)

    • ComfyUI (Pro version)

  • Solution

    • Scenario 1: When you are not using a tool, you can close its tab in the PAI ArtLab platform to shut it down.

    • Scenario 2: When you start a tool, do not disable the auto-shutdown policy. If the auto-shutdown policy is enabled, the tool automatically shuts down when it is idle for more than 20 minutes. This helps you save costs.

    • Scenario 3: On the Developer Center page, you can quickly shut down running Toolbox and custom services.

Authentication, authorization, and activation issues

Q: How can Alibaba Cloud accounts and RAM users complete platform authentication, authorization, and activation?

Q: When I go to the authentication, authorization, and activation page, a message indicates that the current RAM user does not have activation permissions and I should contact the administrator. What should I do?

  • Cause

    The current account is a Resource Access Management (RAM) user. The RAM user has not been granted the required permissions by the Alibaba Cloud account and cannot access the platform.

  • Solution

Q: When I go to the authentication, authorization, and activation page, a message indicates that my account has an overdue payment. What should I do?

Follow the instructions in the message to add funds to your account. Make sure that your Alibaba Cloud account balance is greater than or equal to 0. Then, return to the platform and try to authenticate, authorize, and activate again.

Q: An authorization item is unresponsive when I click it repeatedly. What should I do?

You can refresh the browser page and try again.

Q: How do I clear the storage space?

  1. Log on to PAI ArtLab, hover over image in the upper-right corner, and click the Storage link.

Q: I uploaded more than 15 images to a dataset, but the interface only displays 15. Why?

On an ultra-wide curved screen, the dataset may not be fully displayed. You can try to shrink the browser window.

Q: After I start a tool, the tool page is blank and refreshing does not fix it. What should I do?

You can try to clear your browser cache by performing the following steps:

  1. On the PAI ArtLab page, press F12.

  2. Go to Network, select Disable cache, and refresh the page.
