Tags and resource groups are essential tools for managing cloud resources and allow you to categorize cloud resources based on their characteristics. You can attach tags to resources and organize resources into groups for Microservices Registry, Cloud-native Gateway, and Microservices Governance provided by Microservices Engine (MSE).
Tags
Microservices Registry, Cloud-native Gateway, and Microservices Governance support tags. You can use tags to identify and filter resources. Microservices Registry and Cloud-native Gateway support instance-level tags, and Microservices Governance supports application-level tags. Resource groups
Resource groups streamline resource classification and permission management within an Alibaba Cloud account. Each cloud resource can be assigned to only one resource group. You can assign instances in Microservices Registry to resource groups and filter instances by resource group. For more information, see Resource groups.
