This topic describes how to unsubscribe from paid Data Management (DMS) features, such as stable change control mode, security collaboration control mode, or sensitive data protection.
Usage notes
-
Unsubscribing from the sensitive data protection feature does not clear existing data classification and grading information from the instance. This applies to both subscription and pay-as-you-go plans.
NoteThe data classification and grading information on an instance is cleared only when you disable the sensitive data protection feature for it. For more information, see Disable sensitive data protection.
-
If you unsubscribe from the stable change or security collaboration control mode, DMS disables the instances that use these modes. This does not affect the instances themselves. To enable a disabled instance, see Disable or enable an instance.

The API key (in AccessKey format) provided with the DMS Data+AI Studio trial package is used only to authenticate access to DMS internal databases and Agent services. It cannot be used across products in third-party Agent tools such as qwenpaw. Calls made with this key from such tools fail with the 401 InvalidApiKey error. To use Model Studio or qwenpaw, obtain an Alibaba Cloud Model Studio API key (in the sk-xxx format) instead. If you purchased the DMS trial package and find that its API key is incompatible with your intended use, follow the unsubscription steps described earlier in this section to request a refund.

-
Q: Why do I still receive a bill after I unsubscribe from a pay-as-you-go service?
