This topic explains how to access a DLF catalog from EMR Serverless Spark by using Paimon REST.
Limitations
This feature is available only in EMR Serverless Spark versions esr-4.3.0, esr-3.3.0, esr-2.7.0, and later.

Connect a DLF catalog to a workspace
You can connect a DLF catalog to a new or existing EMR Serverless Spark workspace.
After you connect a DLF catalog to an EMR Serverless Spark workspace, Livy Gateway and Kyuubi Gateway natively support its default catalog.
New workspace
To create an EMR Serverless Spark workspace, see Create a workspace.
When you create the workspace, enable DLF for Metadata Storage and select the DLF catalog you created.
Existing workspace
Go to the Catalog page of your EMR Serverless Spark workspace and add the DLF catalog you created. For more information, see Manage catalogs.
