Dataphin:Create an audience group through one-stop selection

Dataphin tags enable the flexible configuration of conditions for selecting audience groups based on behavior relationships, tags, and existing audience groups. This guide will show you how to create an audience group through one-stop selection.

Prerequisites

Before you can create an audience group through one-stop selection, you must first create the corresponding entity. For more information, see create an entity.

Procedure

  1. On the Dataphin home page, select Tag > Tag Workbench from the top menu bar.

  2. Select Project from the top menu bar, and then choose Audience Group Processing > Audience Group Management from the left-side navigation pane.

  3. On the Audience Group Management page, click the Project Audience Group tab.

  4. Under the Project Audience Group tab, click Add Audience Group.

  5. In the Add Audience Group dialog box, click Rule-Based Group.

  6. On the Create Audience Group (One-Stop Selection) configuration page, configure the basic information of the audience group in step 1.

    Parameter

    Description

    Audience Group Name

    Enter the name of the audience group. Chinese, English, numbers, and underscores (_) are allowed, within 64 characters.

    Audience Group Code

    The unique identifier of the audience group. It helps you locate a specific audience group when creating online services. English and underscores (_) are allowed, within 64 characters.

    Audience Group Update Method

    Supports Periodic Update and Manual Update.

    • Periodic Update: Automatically updates the audience group at regular intervals.

    • Manual Update: Updates the audience group through manual operations.

    Owner

    Select the owner of the audience group.

    Description

    Enter a brief description of the audience group, within 1000 characters.

  7. Click Next.

  8. In step 2 of the Create Audience Group (One-Stop Selection) configuration page, set up the Selection Logic for the audience group.

    Description

    Version Number

    Enter your version number name. Letters, numbers, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and half-width periods (.) are allowed, within 64 characters.

    Entity

    Select the entity name for which you need to create the audience group.

    Entity ID

    Select the entity ID corresponding to the entity.

    Selection Configuration

    Configure the corresponding tag conditions by selecting project tags or applied tags, behavior relationships, and audience groups. Conditions support and and or conditions. When two conditions are dragged to overlap, a condition relationship is generated.

    • Tag: Supports all tags, project tags, and applied tags. You can click the bottom Tag Market to jump to the tag market to find or apply for more tags.

      Click the tag name to configure tag conditions and view tag details.

      • Configure Conditions: Different tag value types support different conditions, as detailed below:

        • Long Integer Tag Value Type: Equal to, not equal to, greater than or equal to, greater than, less than or equal to, less than, not empty, empty, in range, not in range.

        • String Tag Value Type: Equal to, not equal to, not empty, empty, in range, not in range, fuzzy match, fuzzy not match.

        • List Tag Value Type: Contains, does not contain.

        • Boolean Value Type: Equal to, not equal to.

        • Date Value Type: Relationships support Fixed Time and Dynamic Time.

          • Fixed Time: Supported relationships include not equal to, greater than or equal to, greater than, less than or equal to, less than, not empty, empty, between.

          • Dynamic Time: Dynamic time is based on the node running time. Supported relationships include not empty, empty, earlier than, earlier than or equal to, later than, later than or equal to, between.

            When selecting earlier than, earlier than or equal to, later than, or later than or equal to, you can select past or future and enter 0 or positive integer days, such as future 30 days, past 365 days.

        • If the tag corresponds to a behavior relationship field configured with a lookup table, single selection from a dropdown is supported.

      • Tag Details: Displays information such as the associated entity, tag category, listing time, tag value type, update method, and owner of the current tag. When the tag distribution display is enabled and the tag is listed, you can view the tag value distribution graph in the Value Preview Area.

        Click View More Details to jump to the Tag Asset > Tag Details page to view more detailed information about the current tag.

    • Behavior Relationship: Click the behavior relationship name to configure the behavior.

      • Behavior Time: Supports Specific Time Period and Dynamic Time Period.

        • Specific Time Period: A time period from one day to another (accurate to seconds).

        • Dynamic Time Period: Supports selecting Recent, This Year, This Month, and This Week.

          • Recent: You can select 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, and Custom. When selecting custom, you also need to enter a positive integer of up to 7305 (20 years) days.

          • This Year: After selecting this year, the default time period is January 1st 00:00:00 to December 31st 23:59:59 of this year, for example, 2025-01-01 00:00:00 to 2025-12-31 23:59:59.

          • This Month: After selecting this month, the default time period is the first day 00:00:00 to the last day 23:59:59 of this month of this year, for example, 2025-01-01 00:00:00 to 2025-01-31 23:59:59.

          • This Week: After selecting this week, the default time period is Monday 00:00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59 of this week of this month of this year, for example, 2025-01-06 00:00:00 to 2025-01-12 23:59:59.

      • Calculation Rules, Filter Conditions: Support calculation and filtering based on Behavior Property, Behavior Object Property, Behavior Object Tag, Behavior Entity Property, and Behavior Entity Tag as conditions. The configured lookup table condition values support the following filter conditions, as detailed below:

        • Single Selection: Equal to, not equal to, greater than or equal to, greater than, less than or equal to, less than.

        • Multiple Selection: In range, not in range.

        • No Selection: Empty, not empty.

        • Manual Input: Fuzzy match, fuzzy not match.

    • Audience Group: Click the audience group name to add the audience group as a condition value. You can click the bottom Audience Group Market to jump to the tag market to find or apply for more audience groups.

    Note

    Conditions support up to 5 layers of nesting and 10 conditions (tags + behavior relationships + audience groups).

  9. Click Submit to finalize the creation of the audience group.

  10. To use the newly created audience group, you must publish it. In the audience group management list, click the operation column image to publish the tag.

  11. In the publish audience group dialog box, select the version of the audience group you want to publish.

  12. Click Confirm to complete the publishing process for the audience group.

Note

Before publishing, you can click View Version Comparison to examine the details and differences between each version, ensuring accuracy before you proceed with publishing.
