When a host in an ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster is about to expire, stops, or is locked, you can renew the host on the Hosts page to ensure the availability of the host.
System actions related to host expiration
- After the subscription of a host expires, the system retains the host for 14 days. During the 14-day retention period, the host runs and is available. If you do not renew the subscription of the host during the 14-day retention period, the host stops running.
- After a host stops running, the system continues to retain the host for a six-day retention period. During the six-day retention period, the host is not released. If you do not renew the subscription of the host during the six-day retention period, the host is released.
Note
- At the end of the 14-day retention period, the host stops running. To prevent the negative impacts of host downtime on your services, renew the subscription of your host within the 14-day retention period. We recommend that you renew the subscription of your host before the host expires.
- You cannot restore a host after it is released.
