Alibaba Mail:Email Service Transfer Process

If the original email service is other service providers or a self-built server, you need to transfer the email service to the Alibaba Mail. You can follow this document to complete the transfer.

  • Procedure

顺序

1. Purchase Email: You need to purchase the Alibaba Mail service first. Please refer to the Alibaba Mail Purchase Process to complete the purchase.

2. Create Accounts: After you purchase the email service, assign the email accounts to an employees. For more information, please check How to Create Employee Accounts? .

3. Email Migration: If the emails of the original mailbox needs to be migrated to the Alibaba Mail, please refer to Email Migration to complete the migration. Skip this step if you do not have this requirement.

4. Switch Resolution: You need to delete or suspend the domain name resolution of the original email service and add the Alibaba Mail domain name resolution to officially enable the email service.
