Mailbox administrators can set Mail Approval, Monitoring, Filter, and other rules to control the security of members' incoming and outgoing emails.
Historical changes:
Mail Monitoring, Approval, and Filter rules have been merged into Mail Rules. Related rules have been preserved. You do not need to set them again.
Procedure
1. The mailbox administrator goes to Domain Management -Security Management-Mail Rules, and clicks the Create Rule button.

2. Configure rule details

Rule name
Used to distinguish different rules.
Apply
Used to define the scope of the rule. Select All members or Designated departments and members.
Except
Supports excluding certain members.
Supports Add from Contacts, adding departments or members in batch.
Supports Include sub-departments when adding departments.
It is recommended to test on a small scale before expanding the scope to avoid affecting normal email communication.

Boundary values are not included in the range

Supports matching sender name (the name set by the user), matching subject, matching body, matching attachment name, matching attachment content (About attachment detection rules in monitoring and review). Multiple keywords can be separated by pressing the Enter key.

If emails from specified accounts or department members meet the preset conditions, they need to be approved by a reviewer before being sent to the recipient's mailbox.
The email system performs bounce/mark as spam/direct delete operations on emails received by employees that meet the preset conditions.
If emails from specified accounts or department members meet the preset conditions, they will be automatically forwarded to the monitor's mailbox.

Used to exclude emails that meet this condition.

3. After completing the settings, click Preview Rule. Check the rule, and if it meets your expectations, click Save.

4. The status switch is set to Disable by default. You need to switch it to Enable for the rule to take effect.

5. If you need to adjust the rule later, you can perform operations such as Edit Rule, View Rule, Delete, or Disable on the mail rule management page.
