This topic describes how to set the shortcut keypress handler and the mouse mode for a cloud computer on the desktop client.
This topic uses the macOS client V7.13 and the Enterprise Edition as an example. If your experience differs from the description in this topic, you may be using a different client or an outdated version. Upgrade to the latest version.
Prerequisites
You have logged on to the desktop client. For more information, see Log on to a desktop client.
You have been assigned a cloud computer. If no cloud computer is available after you log on, contact your IT administrator to have one assigned to you. For more information, see Assign cloud computers to users.
Set the shortcut keypress handler
You can set whether the cloud computer or the local system responds to shortcut keypresses, such as Ctrl+C, and function keypressess, such as F1 to F12, in different modes.
Connect to the cloud computer.
Click the DesktopAssistant and then click Settings.
On the tab, set the shortcut keypress handler for Windowed Mode and Fullscreen Mode.

(Conditional) Set the keyboard shortcut to exit full screen mode. The default shortcut is
Ctrl+Q.NoteExiting full screen mode using a keyboard shortcut is available only on the Windows client.
Set the mouse mode
By default, when the cloud computer is in windowed mode, the mouse pointer can move outside the window. This may affect the user experience in 3D games or software. You can enable cursor confinement mode to achieve a relative mouse effect. This mode confines the mouse pointer to the cloud computer window and ensures a 360-degree rotation experience in 3D games or software.
Prerequisites
You are using the Windows client or the macOS client (V7.2 or later) to connect to the cloud computer.
The cloud computer uses a GPU-accelerated image, that is, it is a Graphics cloud computer.
Procedure
Connect to the cloud computer.
Click the DesktopAssistant and then click Settings.
On the tab, enable Confine Cursor.

(Optional) The default keyboard shortcut to release the cursor is
Ctrl+Option+2(orCtrl+Alt+2). You can press this shortcut to temporarily remove the cursor confinement and allow the pointer to move outside the cloud computer window. Customize the keyboard shortcut as needed.NoteThe DesktopAssistant is also considered outside the cloud computer window. Therefore, you cannot click the DesktopAssistant when cursor confinement is enabled. To click the DesktopAssistant, press the shortcut to temporarily release the cursor.
(Optional) In addition to using the keyboard shortcut, you can also press the
Esckey twice to temporarily release the cursor. To use this feature, enable Press Esc Twice to Release Cursor.
