Description
New version
SQL Explorer and Audit (new version)
New billing method
Compared to the previous version, the new version uses an updated underlying storage architecture. It uses a hybrid model of hot storage and cold storage to reduce costs and improve efficiency, significantly lowering usage costs. For more information, see What are the differences between the new and previous versions of SQL Explorer and Audit?
Previous version
SQL Explorer and Audit (previous version)
If your database instance and its region support the new version, you can manually upgrade to the new version. For more information, see How do I upgrade from the previous version of SQL Explorer and Audit to the new version?
ImportantDatabase instances in the China (Heyuan) and China (Ulanqab) regions do not support data migration from Enterprise Edition V1 to Enterprise Edition V2.
For database instances in the China (Qingdao), China (Guangzhou), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Hong Kong), and Singapore regions, you can migrate data from Enterprise Edition V1 to Enterprise Edition V2 only if the data storage duration is 30 days or less. If the data storage duration for Enterprise Edition V1 is longer than 30 days, you must modify the storage duration for SQL Explorer and Audit before you can perform the migration. After you reduce the storage duration for SQL Explorer and Audit, DAS immediately clears the data that exceeds the new storage duration. Proceed with caution.
-
On the DAS Enterprise Edition Management page of the DAS console, the tab that displays the Instance ID/instance alias of a database instance indicates its Enterprise Edition version.
