Database Autonomy Service:Disable DAS Audit Log and Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition)

Last Updated:Mar 30, 2026

Disable DAS Audit Log or Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) to reduce the number of billable instances or stop using these services.

Applies to: DAS Audit Log | Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) | DAS Enterprise Edition

Before you disable

Warning

Disabling DAS Audit Log deletes all SQL Explorer and audit logs for the affected database instance. If you want to cancel DAS Enterprise Edition, export the SQL Explorer and audit logs and save them locally before canceling. For export instructions, see Disable SQL Explorer and audit.

  • Disabling Audit Log stops SQL Explorer and audit features for the instance. This does not affect your database business.

  • To reduce storage costs without eliminating auditing, decrease the storage duration for SQL Explorer and audit data instead. See Manage DAS Audit Log and Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition).

  • If you canceled V3 compliance audit for all instances in your account, unsubscribe from the corresponding storage disks promptly to avoid charges for idle resources.

  • Canceling Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) disables all value-added and new features provided by that service and purges the related historical data.

  • DAS Economy Edition is being phased out. To continue using these capabilities, enable Alibaba Cloud Managed Services. To stop being charged for DAS Economy Edition, unsubscribe on the Service Management tab of the Instance List page.

  • After canceling both services, your instance falls back to DAS Basic Edition. For a list of Basic Edition features, see Product editions and features.
