This is a featured project from Alibaba Cloud Project Hub and the Alibaba Cloud Developer Initiative 2021. It is developed by Marsha Azizah Binti Ahmad Shamsuddin from Malaysia.
Floodsensed is an IoT (Internet of Things) flood monitoring system with social media alerts such as to Telegram. Currently, the project is at pilot stage.
The Floodsensed website displays live river water level, flood level, and weather information such as temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, rain volume. In the future, we will have live camera feeds of flood events on the website too. Currently we send flood alerts via telegram channel.
I used Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and ran Ubuntu 20.04
My background is in Mechatronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I am developing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and currently focusing on flood monitoring systems.
