How one of the world’s leading digital payment and technology platforms is bringing secure, integrated AI assistance to tens of thousands of employees.
"Ant Group is advancing a deep AI transformation of how the organization works. Intelligent workplace products are a critical vehicle for reshaping productivity and collaboration. Through our joint development with QwenWork, we aim to establish an integration model suited to the complex workplace environments of large enterprises—one that can serve as a blueprint for the wider industry."
— Luo Ji, President of the Platform Technology Business Group, Ant Group
Ant Group is a global digital payment and technology services platform with businesses spanning digital payments, digital financial technology, healthcare, and digital technology. Its workforce numbers in the tens of thousands.
As AI becomes increasingly capable of handling long, multi-step tasks, it is being applied across a growing range of workplace scenarios within Ant Group. The next step was to establish an enterprise-wide platform capable of supporting that transformation securely and at scale.
Ant Group needed more than a standalone productivity tool. It required an intelligent workplace foundation that could serve employees across the company while operating within the security, governance, and integration requirements of a large technology enterprise.
Three requirements shaped the deployment:
The platform needed to support tens of thousands of employees and provide a consistent AI experience across a wide range of workplace scenarios.
Sensitive enterprise data needed to remain within Ant Group’s own environment, with activity logs available for audit and AI-generated conclusions open to verification.
The solution needed to support Ant Group’s own models and Agent capabilities rather than impose a closed, one-size-fits-all technology stack.
The challenge was therefore not simply to make AI available. It was to make AI broadly usable while keeping deployment private, governed, and deeply connected to the organization’s existing technology environment.
Ant Group chooses QwenWork as its company-wide intelligent workplace Agent foundation. The deployment combines QwenWork’s general-purpose enterprise Agent capabilities with Ant Group’s own models, Agents, internal services, and security controls.
This creates a unified foundation spanning both personal AI assistance and enterprise digital employees, bringing individual productivity and organization-level automation into the same workplace infrastructure.
QwenWork is deployed through a private Kubernetes environment and runs entirely within Ant Group’s internal network. Enterprise data remains within the organization’s own security boundary.
The deployment connects with Ant Group’s internal AI security and governance infrastructure. Logs can be audited, and AI-generated conclusions can be verified—supporting accountable use across the enterprise.
Ant Group can connect its own models and Agent capabilities while integrating QwenWork with digital employees, its internal collaboration platform, project management, and other enterprise services. This allows employees to access AI assistance within existing systems and workflows while building on Ant Group’s technology investments and domain expertise.
QwenWork serves as an intelligent workplace Agent foundation available to employees across Ant Group, an organization with a workforce in the tens of thousands.
The private deployment runs on Ant Group’s internal network, enabling enterprise AI capabilities while keeping data within the organization’s own environment.
Integration with Ant Group’s AI security and governance infrastructure makes activity traceable and outputs open to verification.
The solution brings personal workplace assistance and enterprise digital employees together within a unified Agent infrastructure.
The deployment demonstrates an approach that combines broad AI availability with private deployment, enterprise control, and integration flexibility, creating a reference for other large organizations navigating similar requirements.
Run QwenWork entirely within the enterprise network through a Kubernetes-based deployment
Connect enterprise-owned models and existing Agent capabilities within a flexible AI environment
Link AI assistance with digital employees, collaboration tools, project management, and other internal services
Keep data within the enterprise boundary while supporting auditable logs and verifiable outputs
Support both personal AI assistance and enterprise digital employees on one intelligent workplace foundation
Ant Group and QwenWork will continue their joint development of an integration model designed for the complex workplace environments of large enterprises. The goal is not only to expand AI access, but to reshape how productivity and collaboration work across the organization, and provide a practical blueprint for enterprise-wide AI transformation.
