Background

A well-known secretary enterprise company is going to set up a PaaS DB within Mainland China for financial data hosting and regulation fulfillment.

The current setup:

The enterprise headquarters is based in Hong Kong.
The financial data is hosted in the East Asia region under an SaaS provider
The enterprise subscripted their IaaS in the East Asia region
There is a network between the headquarters and regional offices (such as Mainland China)
MPLS or IPSec VPN are used for the office's network connection.
There is no IaaS in Mainland China, only data center hosting.
