How to view metrics - WUYING Terminal - Alibaba Cloud Documentation Center

This topic describes how to view metrics for your cloud computer—such as CPU load, network latency, and FPS—and explains what each metric means.

Important

The instructions in this topic use the macOS client 8.5.5 as an example. If your client type or version differs, your experience may vary.

Procedure

Open the metrics bar: In your cloud computer, open DesktopAssistant and click Metrics.
Switch the display mode of the metrics bar: The first time you open the metrics bar, it opens in simple mode by default, displaying fewer metrics. Click the icon on the right of the metrics bar to switch to detailed mode and view all metrics. Click the icon to switch back to simple mode.
Close the metrics bar: Click the icon on the right of the bar.

Metrics

Parameter	Description
CPU load	Indicates the current CPU load. Higher utilization darkens the background color of the metric. If the color turns red, the CPU is overloaded. Pause or close low-priority processes.
Latency	Includes the following two metrics: Local network latency: The network delay between the client and the Alibaba Cloud Workspace gateway. This value reflects your local network quality and matches the latency shown in DesktopAssistant. Latency from the client to the cloud computer: Measures the round-trip time (RTT) it takes for a command to be sent from the client to the cloud computer over the ASP channel and for a response to be received. This metric affects the interactive responsiveness of your cloud computer session.
FPS	Indicates the number of frames displayed per second. A higher FPS results in smoother visuals and a better user experience. To configure the FPS, open DesktopAssistant and go to Settings > Preferences > Graphic. Note If an administrator has specified a display mode in the policy associated with your cloud computer, you cannot configure the FPS yourself. For more information, see Set the keyboard response mode and mouse mode.
Resolution	The current display resolution of the cloud computer. To configure the resolution, open DesktopAssistant and go to Settings > Preferences > Display.
Image quality	Indicates the visual quality of the cloud computer session. Higher image quality provides clearer visuals but requires more device and network resources. To configure image quality, open DesktopAssistant and go to Settings > Preferences > Graphic. Note If an administrator has specified a display mode in the policy associated with your cloud computer, you cannot configure the image quality yourself. Upstream bandwidth	Indicates the data transfer rate for your upstream connection.
Downstream bandwidth	Indicates the data transfer rate for your downstream connection.
Traffic	Indicates the total data transferred during the current session. This value resets when you start a new session.
Protocol type	Indicates the stream and transport types used for the session. Stream type: Includes CMD (QXL command stream), Video (video stream), and Hybrid (mixed stream). Transport type: Includes TCP and UDP.
