ApsaraVideo VOD supports multiple upload methods and media formats, including multi-end upload, concurrent upload, resumable upload, and short video SDK upload.

    • MPEG formats: MP4, TS, 3GP, MPG, MPEG, MPE, DAT, VOB, ASF, and more.

    • AVI format: AVI.

    • Windows Media Video formats: WMV and ASF.

    • Flash Video formats: FLV and F4V.

    • Real Video formats: RM and RMVB.

    • QuickTime format: MOV.

    • Matroska format: MKV.

    • HLS format: M3U8.

      Note

      In the ApsaraVideo VOD console, you can upload M3U8 files only from a URL. To upload local M3U8 files, use the ApsaraVideo VOD API or an SDK. For more information, see Upload media files by using ApsaraVideo VOD API.

    • Other formats: DV, GIF, M2T, M4V, MJ2, MJPEG, MTS, OGG, QT, SWF, and WEBM.

Short video SDK

The short video SDK lets you record or import videos, edit them, and upload to ApsaraVideo VOD. Recording features include resolution switching, real-time filters and retouching, camera switching, flash control, and face stickers (via the facial recognition SDK). Editing features include cropping by frame size and duration, video merging, filters, animated stickers, music, MVs, subtitles, and doodles. The SDK provides product-level open source UI for customization and unified API operations for recording, importing, cropping, and editing.
