Service Catalog:Add a product to or remove a product from a product portfolio

A product portfolio consists of one or more products. You can manage products by using product portfolios. You can add a product to or remove a product from a product portfolio based on your business requirements.

Prerequisites

Create a product and add the product to the product portfolio

  1. Log on to the Service Catalog console as the administrator.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Administrator > Portfolio management.
  3. On the Portfolio management page, click the name of the product portfolio to which you want to add a product.

  4. On the Products tab, click Create product.

  5. On the Create product page, configure the parameters and click Confirm.

Add an existing product to the product portfolio

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Administrator > Portfolio management.
  2. On the Portfolio management page, click the name of the product portfolio to which you want to add a product.

  3. On the Products tab, click Add product to portfolio.

  4. In the Select the product to add panel, find the product that you want to add, select the product name, and then click Confirm.

  5. Click Go to the list to view the product that you add to the product portfolio.

Remove a product from the product portfolio

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Administrator > Portfolio management.
  2. On the Portfolio management page, click the name of the product portfolio from which you want to remove a product.

  3. On the Product management page, find the product that you want to remove and click Remove in the Operation column.

  4. In the Remove product message, check the information and click Confirm.
