Premium ESSD introduces support for new features that significantly improve the read/write performance of instances. Additionally, RDS for PostgreSQL offers the data archiving feature for Premium ESSD to help you reduce storage costs and enjoy better services at lower prices.
Storage type renaming
Starting April 27, 2025, general ESSD will be renamed for RDS for PostgreSQL instances.
