Quick BI:Export a Dashboard

You can export visualization charts and data analysis results created in Quick BI in multiple formats to flexibly adapt to different office scenarios. This topic describes how to export a dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • A dashboard is created. For more information, see Create a Dashboard.

  • The target chart widget is added and the dashboard is published. For more information, see Publish a Dashboard.

  • In the dashboard page settings, Allow Download is selected and Hide Global Download Button is not selected.

    Note

    If you select Hide Global Download Button, you cannot perform global dashboard export in preview mode.

Pc

You can export a dashboard on PC, supporting global export and single chart export operations.

Global Export

Global dashboard export refers to exporting the entire dashboard, which is suitable for scenarios where you need to share or archive the entire analysis results. The specific operation instructions are as follows.

  1. Find the dashboard you need to export in the dashboard list in the workspace, and click Preview.image.png

  2. Click the image.png icon in the lower right corner to display the export entry.image.png

  3. Click Export to enter parameter settings.image

    Parameter

    Description

    Export Name

    The name of the exported file. You can customize a name.

    File Format

    The file format of the exported chart data. You can export in EXCEL, Image, and PDF formats.

    Note
    • Organization administrators can configure supported export data formats in Data Security. For more information, see Export Control.

    • EXCEL format only supports exporting data from chart widgets. For better compatibility with various data formats, we recommend opening the exported file with EXCEL.

    • Image and PDF formats do not allow exporting embedded components (external page embedding) and cross-domain accessed images. For more information, see FAQ about Export.

    EXCEL Content

    Supports two export methods: Export All and Partial Export.

    1. If you select Export All, all chart data under the dashboard will be exported by default.

    2. If you select Partial Export, you can customize and select some chart data under the dashboard.image

    Cross Table Data Type

    The data format of the cross table that you want to export.

    The exported cross table data supports two formats: With Format and Pure Data.

    1. When there are more than 50,000 cells, we recommend that you select the Pure Data type.

    2. Only the first 10,000 data records can be exported if you want to export an EXCEL file.

    Note

    This option needs to be configured only when the exported chart is a cross table and the file format is EXCEL.

    Watermark

    You can select Show Watermark or Hide Watermark.

    This option needs to be configured only when the file format is EXCEL.

    Export Channel

    Supports exporting to Local or OSS server.

    Note

    If the current organization has configured a server, you can choose to export to the OSS address.

Single Chart Export

Single chart export refers to exporting a single chart in a dashboard, which allows users to select and export content according to their analysis needs. This method is suitable for more focused analysis scenarios. The specific operation instructions are as follows.

  1. On the dashboard preview page, hover your mouse over the chart you want to export, click the image icon in the upper right corner, and select Export from the dropdown list.image

  2. Configure the information in the export dialog box.

    Description

    Export Name

    The name of the exported file. You can customize a name.

    File Format

    The file format of the exported chart data. You can export in Image, PDF, and EXCEL formats.

    Note
    • Organization administrators can configure supported export data formats in Data Security. For more information, see Export Control.

    • EXCEL format only supports exporting data from chart widgets. For better compatibility with various data formats, we recommend opening the exported file with EXCEL.

FAQ about Export

  1. Why are images displayed in the chart or background images not exported?

    Open the browser developer tools and check if there is a "No Access-control-Allow-Origin" image access error in the console. If it exists, it indicates that the image is not configured to allow cross-domain access. Please configure cross-domain access on the image resource server.imageIf it does not exist, please check if the image link can be accessed normally when visited separately.

  2. Why are embedded pages not exported?

    Embedded pages are not supported for export.
