This topic describes the differences between company spaces, team spaces, and personal spaces in the Enterprise Drive user interface.
Company space
The Developer Edition does not include a default company space. You can create teams and spaces as needed.
Feature description
After you purchase the Enterprise Edition of Enterprise Drive, a root team with the same name as your organization is created by default in the . A space is configured for this root team and serves as the company's dedicated space.

Resource management
Super administrators and drive administrators in Enterprise Drive have full data operation permissions for the company space by default.
Regular users in Enterprise Drive have only preview permissions for data in the company space by default.
Store only public files, such as employee handbooks and public information, in the company space. For internal department files, such as project materials, create team spaces to allow for fine-grained management.

Modifying space size and permissions
Method 1:
Super administrators or drive administrators can select the enterprise drive in the , and then click Modify team information to adjust the company space size or permissions. (Note that the size cannot exceed the remaining available space.)

Method 2:
Super administrators or drive administrators can select the company space on the page, and then click Modify Space to adjust the size or permissions. (Note that the size cannot exceed the remaining available space.)

Team space
Feature description
Administrators can create teams in the based on the organization's structure.
Team spaces are used to store files for different departments. Team administrators can grant different access permissions to teams or users as needed.
Creating a team
Administrators can create a sub-team by navigating to and clicking New sub team.
Resource management
Team administrators in Enterprise Drive have full data operation permissions for their team space by default.
Regular users in Enterprise Drive do not have any data operation permissions for team spaces by default.

Modifying space size and permissions
Method 1:
In the , an administrator can select a team and click Modify team information to adjust the team space size or permissions. (When you allocate space, ensure that the size does not exceed the remaining available space.)
Method 2:
If space was not allocated when the team was created, an administrator can go to the page and click Modify Space to adjust the size or permissions. (Note that the size cannot exceed the remaining available space.)

Personal space
Feature description
A personal space is used to store a user's personal data. By default, only the user has access to this space.

Creating a personal space
An administrator allocates the personal space when creating a user.

Modifying a personal space
To modify a user's personal space size, an administrator find the user under , and then click Edit to make the adjustment.
