Drive and Photo Service:How to set permissions

This topic describes how administrators can set permissions for enterprise disks.

Important

You cannot manage permissions for files.

Enable the feature

To set permissions, perform the following steps:

  1. Log on to the Enterprise Disk Management Console using a super administrator or Drive administrator account.

  2. In the Security Policy > Sharing/Authorization Settings section, enable this feature.

  3. After you enable the feature, perform the following operations to ensure that the changes take effect on the client:

    • Web client: Refresh the page.

    • Desktop client: Log out and then log on again.

    After you complete the previous operations, the permission configurations take effect.

Permission settings

Modify access permissions for the enterprise space

  • In the Team Management section, select an enterprise and click the edit button to modify the default access permissions for the enterprise space.

Method 1

  • In the Team Management section, select a team and click the edit button to modify the default access permissions for the team.

  • In the upper-right corner of the management console, click Return To User Interface. Then, in the Enterprise > Team Space section, select a team disk and click Authorization Management to customize the access permissions for the disk.

  • In the upper-right corner of the management console, click Return To User Interface. Then, in the Enterprise > Enterprise/Team Space section, select a folder and click Authorization Management to customize the access permissions for the folder.
