This topic describes important information about refunds for Object Storage Service (OSS) resource plans, including refund methods and destinations.
Notes before you request a refund
The pay-as-you-go billing method does not support refunds. If you no longer use OSS, you can release your OSS resources at any time. After you release the resources, you are no longer charged for OSS. For more information, see How do I deactivate OSS or stop being charged for it?.
Refunding a resource plan does not affect your stored data. After the resource plan is refunded, if no other resource plans are available in your account to cover usage, the pay-as-you-go billing method is used.
Refund conditions
To cancel a purchased resource plan, you can a ticket.
The resource plan that you want to cancel must meet all the following conditions:
The resource plan is not used.
The resource plan was purchased less than five days ago.
The resource plan was not purchased through an upgrade.
