    Microservices Engine:Manage the MSE Ingress Controller component

    Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) managed clusters, ACK Serverless clusters, and Container Compute Service (ACS) clusters provide a managed MSE Ingress Controller built on the Microservices Engine (MSE) cloud-native gateway.

    Install the MSE Ingress Controller

    Note

    You can install the MSE Ingress Controller in ACK managed clusters, ACK Serverless clusters, and ACS products.

    Two installation methods are available:

    Method When to use
    Method 1: Install during cluster creation You are creating a new cluster. This is the simplest option.
    Method 2: Install from the Add-ons page You already have a running cluster.

    Method 1: Install during cluster creation

    • When you create an ACK managed cluster or an ACK Serverless cluster, in the Ingress section of the Component Configurations step, select to install MSE Ingress. For more information, see Create an ACK managed cluster and Create an ACK Serverless cluster.

    • When you create an ACS cluster, in the Component Configurations area, select MSE Ingress for the Ingress parameter. For more information, see Create an ACS cluster.

    Method 2: Install from the Add-ons page

    1. Open the Add-ons page for your cluster.

      ACK managed cluster or ACK Serverless cluster

      1. Log on to the ACK console.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

      3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its name.

      4. In the left navigation pane, click Add-ons.

      ACS cluster

      1. Log on to the ACS console.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

      3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its ID.

      4. In the left navigation pane, choose Operations > Add-ons.

    2. On the Add-ons page, enter mse in the search box.

    3. On the MSE Ingress Controller card, click Install.

    Upgrade the MSE Ingress Controller

    1. Open the Add-ons page for your cluster.

      ACK managed cluster or ACK Serverless cluster

      1. Log on to the ACK console.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

      3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its name.

      4. In the left navigation pane, click Add-ons.

      1. Log on to the ACS console.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

      3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its ID.

      4. In the left navigation pane, choose Operations > Add-ons.

    2. Click the Networking tab.

    3. On the MSE Ingress Controller card, click Upgrade.

      Note

      If the Upgrade button is unavailable, the component is already at the latest version.

    4. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.

    Uninstall the MSE Ingress Controller

    1. Open the Add-ons page for your cluster.

      ACK managed cluster or ACK Serverless cluster

      1. Log on to the ACK console.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

      3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its name.

      4. In the left navigation pane, click Add-ons.

      ACS cluster

      1. Log on to the ACS console.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

      3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its ID.

      4. In the left navigation pane, choose Operations > Add-ons.

    2. Click the Networking tab.

    3. On the MSE Ingress Controller card, click Uninstall in the lower-right corner.

    4. In the Uninstall dialog box, click OK.
