View monitoring information in the Lindorm console

Important
  • If you view the monitoring information in the Lindorm console as a Resource Access Management (RAM) user for the first time, the page that appears may be blank because you do not have the required permissions. In this case, use an Alibaba Cloud account to activate Managed Service for Prometheus. For more information, see Grant permissions to view monitoring information.

  • The Grafana monitoring service in the Lindorm console is free of charge.

Grant permissions to view monitoring information

  1. Attach the AliyunARMSReadOnlyAccess policy to the RAM user. For more information, see Manage RAM user permissions.

  2. Log on to the ARMS console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Managed Service for Prometheus > Instances.

  3. Click Activate Now to activate Managed Service for Prometheus.

View monitoring information

  1. Log on to the Lindorm console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.

  3. On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Instance Monitoring to view the monitoring metrics.

Note

View monitoring information in the CloudMonitor console

Lindorm uses the cloud service monitoring feature of CloudMonitor to organize and display monitoring data by instance.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Cloud Service Monitoring.

  3. On the Cloud Service Monitoring page, click Lindorm.

  4. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.

  5. Click the ID of the target instance to view its monitoring metrics.

    Note

For a description of the metrics for a Lindorm instance, see Appendix 1: Cloud service monitoring metrics.
