Lindorm instance monitoring covers common resources such as CPU and memory across each engine. Use either the Lindorm console or the CloudMonitor console to view monitoring metrics.

View monitoring information in the Lindorm console
The Grafana monitoring service in the Lindorm console is free of charge. If a Resource Access Management (RAM) user opens Instance Monitoring for the first time and sees a blank page, the RAM user lacks the required permissions. Use an Alibaba Cloud account to grant permissions and activate Managed Service for Prometheus before proceeding.
Grant permissions to a RAM user
Skip this section if you are using an Alibaba Cloud account or have already granted permissions.
Attach the AliyunARMSReadOnlyAccess policy to the RAM user. For more information, see Manage RAM user permissions.
Log on to the ARMS console. In the navigation pane, choose Managed Service for Prometheus > Instances.
Click Activate Now to activate Managed Service for Prometheus.
View monitoring metrics
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance, or click View Instance Details in the Actions column.
In the navigation pane, click Instance Monitoring to view the monitoring metrics.
To create a custom Grafana dashboard or ingest Lindorm monitoring data into a self-managed application, use an HTTP API URL to connect to Grafana. View monitoring information in the CloudMonitor console
Cloud Monitor organizes and displays Lindorm monitoring data by instance using its cloud service monitoring feature.
Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
In the navigation pane, click Cloud Service Monitoring.
On the Cloud Service Monitoring page, click Lindorm.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the instance is deployed.
Click the ID of the target instance to view its monitoring metrics.
