    IoT Platform:Configure custom statistics

    Custom statistics allow you to visualize Data Metrics from DataService Studio.

    Prerequisites

    The custom statistics service is enabled. For more information, see Enable and disable O&M statistics.

    Background information

    By default, the O&M statistics service is disabled for new Enterprise Edition instances. You must enable it manually. You can also disable the service after it is enabled. The O&M statistics service currently supports device statistics, working status statistics, event statistics, and custom statistics. For more information about the O&M statistics service, see O&M statistics overview.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the IoT Platform console.

    2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select the region where your Enterprise instance is located.

    3. On the Instance Overview page, click the name of the target Enterprise instance.

    4. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Maintenance > O&M statistics.

    5. Click the Custom Statistics tab.

    6. Click Add Custom Panel in the center of the page. In the dialog box that appears, enter a Panel Name and click OK.

      • Click image.png next to the panel name to create a new panel. You can create a maximum of five panels.

      • To change the order of the panels, move the mouse pointer before the target panel name, press and hold image.png, and drag the panel.

      • Move the mouse pointer after the target panel name and click image.png to edit the panel name or delete the panel.

    7. Click Add Custom Metric in the center of the page. In the Add Metric dialog box, click Preset Metric or Custom Metric.

      Preset metrics

      1. From the Preset Metric Item list, select the target metric.

        Important

        If the selected preset metric is not enabled, click Go to Enable. You are redirected to the Preset Metrics tab on the DataService Studio > Data Metrics page, where you can enable the target metric. For more information, see Manage preset metric tables.

      2. From the Product list, select the target product.

      3. Configure parameters such as Dimension and Display Mode.

      4. Click OK.

      Custom metrics

      1. Select Product or Device.

      2. Configure parameters such as the product, device, and custom metric item.

        Important

        For instructions on how to edit a custom metric, see Create a metric.

      3. Click OK.

    8. Configure the metric cards and the data panel.

      • Add Metric: Add a new metric to the current panel.

      • Edit Panel

        • Drag the metric cards to change their order and then click Save on the right side of the page.

        • Click image.png in the upper-right corner of a metric card to delete the metric.

      • Delete Panel: In the dialog box that appears, click OK to delete the current panel.

      • Click image.png in the upper-right corner of a metric card to perform operations such as Edit, Enlarge, or Remove the metric.

      • From the Time list on the right side of the page, select a time range for the metric: Last 1 Day, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or Custom.
