IoT Platform:Enable and disable O&M statistics

Last Updated:Jun 22, 2026

Enable or disable the device statistics, working status statistics, and event statistics services, and check service status and computing unit (CU) consumption.

Prerequisites

You have purchased an Enterprise Edition instance. For more information, see Purchase an Enterprise Edition instance.

Background information

The O&M statistics service is disabled by default for new Enterprise Edition instances. After you enable it, you can disable it at any time. The service supports device statistics, working status statistics, event statistics, and custom statistics. For more information, see O&M statistics overview.

Enable O&M statistics

  1. Log on to the IoT Platform console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select the region for your Enterprise Edition instance. Then, on the Overview page, find and click the instance.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Maintenance > O&M statistics.

  4. On the O&M statistics page, click the tab for the service that you want to enable.

  5. At the top of the tab, click Enable.

  6. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.

    Important

If your instance's CU specifications are insufficient, a dialog box prompts you to upgrade the instance. Follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade the CU specifications. For more information about specifications, see Purchase an Enterprise Edition instance.

After the upgrade, repeat the steps above to enable the service.

Disable O&M statistics

You can disable an enabled O&M statistics service at any time. The change takes effect immediately, and your instance stops consuming CUs for that service.

  1. On the O&M statistics page, click the tab for the service that you want to disable.

  2. At the top of the tab, click Disable.

  3. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.

View service status and CU consumption

Each service tab on the O&M statistics page displays the current service status. To view details and CU consumption, follow these steps.

  1. On the O&M statistics page, click Settings and CU consumption in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the CU consumption details panel, view the device and CU specifications and usage for the current instance. You can also view the status and activation date for each feature.

    • In the Specifications and usage area, click Upgrade next to CU specifications to purchase more CUs.

    • Toggle the Status switch for a feature to enable or disable the service.

    Note

If the CU specifications of the instance are insufficient for the total CU consumption of all enabled features, a message appears above the feature list, and the services in the list are shown as disabled.

You can configure an alert rule for CU consumption to receive notifications when your CU specifications need an upgrade. This helps ensure uninterrupted O&M statistics services. For more information, see Configure an alert for CU usage.

In the CU consumption details panel, the Specifications and usage area also displays Device count, Total CU consumption, and Remaining CUs. The feature list includes device statistics, working status statistics, and event statistics. For each feature, the table shows the Running tasks, Activation date, and CU consumption (per month).

Configure CU usage alerts

  1. Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Service > Alert Rules.

  3. On the Alert Rules page, click Create Alert Rule.

  4. In the Create alert rule panel, configure the alert rule parameters.

From the Product list, select IoT Platform - Instance. For information about other parameters, see Create an alert rule.

  5. Click Confirm.
